Benita Okojie Makes Comeback To Music
Edo State-born star singer, Benita Okojie of
'Osamudiamen' fame in the late 90's, is to make a
return to music on Children's Day in Lagos. Benita,
who was one of the reigning artistes in 1998, went
underground when the Nigerian music industry
started to become a money 'vomiting' machine.
Her attempts to make a comeback in mid-2000
stretching to late 2000 were not too successful. But
come Monday, May 27, 2013, the now-experienced
singer will thrill her fans to a serenade of good
music.
She will be at the Nnenna and Friends Children's
Day show, which will also have the Papa Ajasco &
Company crew performing.
The event will hold at the National Theatre, Lagos.
