EXCLUSIVE: AGN Suspends Edo Chapter Boss, Osagie, 5 Others For Alleged Fraud
Nigeriafilms.com can authoritatively and
exclusively report that the National body of Actors'
Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended the Edo
State chapter chairman of the guild over fraud
allegations.
We gathered that Asola Osagie Elegbenobo, who is
the Edo State chapter chairman of AGN, was
suspended along with five other members of the
guild.
A source divulged to Nigeriafilms.com that text
messages were sent to all members of AGN
notifying them of the suspension of the affected
persons.
The other five Edo State AGN suspended members
are; Kelly Ogbemudia, Stanley Amada Sun
Orobosa, Austin Enabulele, Chris Isokpehi and Joel
Opute (Edo AGN Secretary).
Efforts to contact the National PRO of AGN, Frank
Dallas to confirm this story were not successful as
his phone number was not reachable.
We then contacted the National Secretary of the
guild, Abubakar Yakubu, who confirmed the story
to Nigeriafilms.com.
Abubakar said Osagie and the five others were
suspended for one year for anti party activities. He
said the national body received petitions from the
state members against Osagie and others over
fraud allegations.
He said a committee has been set up to investigate
the matter.
