Cruyff Says Mourinho Will Never Succeed Again
Johan Cruyff has condemned
Mourinho’s behaviour at Real
Madrid as he concluded that
he believes with such
behaviour it will very difficult
for the Portuguese coach to
ever win any trophy again.
. . Mourinho recently left Real Madrid
for his former English Club Chelsea
as he signed a four-year deal to
return as manager.
The 50-year-old took the driver’s
seat at Stamford Bridge for the
second time on Monday after
months of speculation linking him
with the post.
Mourinho heads to London having
failed to guide Real Madrid to a
major trophy in the 2012-13
seasons, after previously leading
Los Blancos to a Copa del Rey and
La Liga triumph.
But former Barcelona boss Cruyff
believes the way Mourinho’s spell at
the Bernabéu came to an end does
not bode well for the future.
The former Dutch football star said
he believes that the way Mourinho
acted was what messed everything
up in Madrid he blamed everyone
and everybody when something
went wrong in Madrid.
He said Mourinho is playing games
with people and he played an
unbelievably negative part in his
Madrid years, as he engineered the
exit of general manager Jorge
Valdano and later he did the same
with director of football Zinedine
Zidane and he also dropped Iker
Casillas, the captain of the Spanish
national team, the reason why the
Portuguese didn’t succeed in the
end in Madrid and he feels
Mourinho will not taste success any
more.
